always paranoid [18 Dec 2006|10:23pm] [ mood | stressed ] hi. today i had two finals. and both of them together probably took me 20 minutes tops. i came home and prepared some toast and watched rob and big for a little bit. then it was time for work. usually we get anywhere from 10-20 boxes of shipment at a time. yea today we got 130. id pretty much rather get punched in the face. on top of that it was so hot because we got this "dream steamer" which is the size of a walk in closet. and all it basically does it let off heat. so at some point i decided just to leave. i went shopping and bought two pairs of jeans and a button down shirt. i still didn't finish Christmas shopping. right now im studying for my business final. but id rather much be laying on a beach chair with my fair lady sipping pina colada out of a fun shaped glass with those little umbrellas and then drink some corona and then someone says "miles away from ordinary". or settle for just a movie night. this week needs to end. Dylan, who released eight studio albums in that time, returns with his first recording in five years, "Modern Times," next Tuesday. Noting the music industry's complaints that illegal downloading means people are getting their music for free, he said, "Well, why not? It ain't worth nothing anyway." "You listen to these modern records, they're atrocious, they have sound all over them," he added. "There's no definition of nothing, no vocal, no nothing, just like ... static." Dylan said he does his best to fight technology, but it's a losing battle. "Even these songs probably sounded ten times better in the studio when we recorded 'em. CDs are small. [09 Apr 2006|12:15am] everyone seems to be depressed recently. sorry if im contagious :P i think we all need to cheer up and focus on the good times instead of the bad and sometimes i joke around about this. but its been proven to be a fact: everytime i have work, theres a party going on. everytime i dont have work, nothings going on. did u ever think about everything. not just like the big things. but all the tiny details and every second. i dont want to say it to make it obvious. but i kinda just did by saying that. linnea practiced today. were playing 6 songs at true storys cd release show. i think we sounded amazing. we have all new parts for our songs. and lots of intros. cause like who wants to hear the same shit at every show? no one. and if you do then you probally listen to fall out boy, the academy is, cute is what we aim for, PANIC! at the disco, madison, matchbook romance, hawthorne heights, the used, and many other bands that have no talent. by the way, if you listen to panic at the disco, i lose some respect from you. not a lot. maybe like 4%. 5 tops. i mean its cool that you like a band, im not gonna hate you for liking a band and the music they make. but theres just something about them. there just so terrible. "you were a stroke of luck, we were a goldmine and they gutted us" and a big "fuck you" if you dont like bright eyes 30 % want it analyzed.
